Business & Land Development Plan

Industrial land, infrastructure and supporting development, planned as one estate

The development plan for Sumalacca Integrated Industrial and Port Estate sets out how industrial land, estate infrastructure and the residential, commercial, clean block and utilities components are coordinated within a single masterplan.

Strategic focus

Development direction across three horizons

SIIPE's existing pipeline provides visible opportunities over different time frames. Each horizon below states a development direction, not a completion schedule.

Short term

01
  • Continue to develop and capitalise on Sumalacca Township.
  • Further development of Sumalacca Industrial Park in North Sumatera.

Medium term

02
  • Development of the sea port, initially as a logistics hub and for agriculture and fishery industries.

Long term

03
  • Replicate Kota Sumalacca's industry-based integrated township model throughout Indonesia.
  • Build out an infrastructure facility portfolio — power, water, ports and related systems — to support these new townships.
  • Development of a hospitality and tourism area inside the industrial estate.
